It satisfies the fun birthday cake feel for the most reasonable price. It may not totally satisfy the birthday cake need, since it is, in fact, doughnuts disguised as a cake, but it is fun. I placed an ordered a sandwich online and specified I was celiac and would have to avoid cross contact. I will say I did not specify not toasted but it was a build your own and it didn’t say it would be toasted or give an option so maybe I should have specified.

I called and asked if the gluten free macarons are prepared on/with the same equipment as the gluten containing flavors.

Tons of GF dessert, from the usual custards and macarons to tea cakes, chocolate cups and more. The russian tea is delightful and my friend swears by their coffee. We also carry a wide range of vegan products, and cupcakes in the store if you are looking for single items. We even have vegan & gluten free offerings as well.

We're unable to process online orders, but if you leave your phone number and tell us what you're looking for we'll be glad to call you as soon as we can to help you place a phone order. I used to go for the gf salted caramel brownie but recently found out close to half their menu is gf because they use almond flour, so be careful if you have a nut allergy. Now I get something different every time. I’ve been there many times and every GF option I’ve tried was good and I didn’t have any problem.
Another undersung option for gluten-free dining is the Mexican restaurant Claro, in Gowanus, Brooklyn.
